I bought a juvenile Lesser Siren on a whim, and she'll be at my house tomorrow. I already had an aquarium set up, but I altered it a little bit to make her happy--put in softer substrate, sand, and some hidey-holes, but I was wondering how to transfer her from what she'll come in to the aquarium itself. I don't want to cause her too much stress or handle her in a way that might harm her.

Here is a photo of the aquarium, it has a very secure lid but it's not on in the picture.

Well, since it will most likely come in some sort of container or something filled with water, simply pour it into the tank, gently of course.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
