I guess it's possible, homosexuality has been documented in several other types of animals, but it's also possible that it's just not interested in breeding lol

Axies respond to the right conditions for breeding. If your male isn't interested then conditions aren't right. Axies will often court ANY other axie when conditions are right, they are not fussy about whether the other one is male or female.

Or she could just not be his type....

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation
