Hello!
New user to Caudata, currently keeping 9 Axolotl which I have hatched from egg's all around 2 - 3 months old.
x3 Leucistic
x6 Wild Type
I was introduced to Axolotl by my girlfriend who has 6 which are all about 2 years old. I was instantly fascinated and felt compelled to raise my own. After weeks of constant research and browsing through posts on here I took 9 eggs home after my girlfriends Axolotl had been breeding. All have survived and are growing well apart from a few missing limbs as they got older (split them up now).
I keep mine in pairs or 3's in large quality plastic food containers, they were eating brineshrimp, daphnia and blood worm but I have moved them all on to small pellets (Novolotl). I have a small tank ready for when they get big enough, although I will be selling at least 7 of them once they are larger.
