I have two white dirty face axolotls and their eggs have just hatched and seem to be a light brown? Will they change to being like parents?

Yes. All the babies from a pair of leucisitcs will be leucisitcs (you may also get some white alinos). They are dark because the eggs were dark, they will lighten up in a week or so.

The opposite happens when wildtypes and melanoids hatch from white eggs laid by an albino - they start out very pale with a few freckles and go dark within a week!
