Well where do I start I have just been on Facebook and been told my babies look like they are to thin. I currently feed them frozen bloodworm X2 once in the morning and 1 bloodworm in the evening but I have been told they are looking thin and I agree :(. I don't have any money until Tuesday I have bloodworm and daphnia in my freezer what should I do until then and bearing in mind I am in the UK what can I buy instead of what I'm feeding. Oh and where can I get it from I am in Thetford Norfolk. They are 7.2 weeks old and the biggest are about 3 centimetres.so they are very small for their age. They are only just getting back legs. They have been fed live daphnia up until 2 weeks and then bloodworm from then on.

Bloodworm is fine, maybe mix it up with some blackworm if you can get it (not easy in the UK) or some live brineshrimp.

Thankyou I'm not to confident with the brine shrimp in case I don't rinse it properly and I will never be able to hatch it out that's why I started with daphnia. Is there an alternative and okay I will look around all my local pet stores on Tuesday for some black worms.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
