I got fire belly newts. I would like to know some hardy plants i could put with them such as beginner plants. And also is coco husk good substrate to grow plants in?

Ok, so you're talking about using coco husk as a substrate for terrestrial plants. I would think that wouldn't work out well since plants need nutrients in the substrate.

So what do u suggested i layer the gravel with. So i can turn the land area to a nice planted environment for them?

Stress-free, healthy, H. orientalis would be nearly fully aquatic, a planted land area would end up being a waste of water volume that could be used
