I have two axolotls that I bought around mid-march as juvies. Since then they have grown quickly into 6 inch long gorgeous axies, but suddenly I have been informed that I need to rehome them. My main issue is that I live in the heat of Alabama and finding a suitable home for them is near impossible. Can anyone give me advice on how to rehome my pets? I bought them off of caudata

I am in Florida and would be interested if you could ship. I get them shipped in all the time from all over the US. What kind do you have?

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
