Hey friends,
Just had a look at the young albino I rescued a couple months ago. She's grown, put on weight and shows all signs of health.
Just this evening I noticed a large tear along her fin and white mucusy clumps attached to one gill frond.
Her gills also appear slightly shrunken and pale. They're normally fluffy and vibrant.
Is this an injury or sign of illness? I have two other Lotls in the tank who are not showing anything unusual.
Here's a photo of her just a few days ago. She looks lovely aside from a bump on her mouth, acquired by snapping at my feeding tongs.
