I'm in Denver. I have two leucistics and one wild type. there're still small 5inchs I've been trying to find goldies in town to complete my set but so far no luck. I might get one on here. I am going to start a worm farm but still haven't decided on what kind to get since earthworms have a bad taste I don't want to get those. I want to get something my guys will love eating. But I also heard that European nightcrawlers are hard to breed. So I don't know. I'm hoping to find a solution here.

If you can get "night crawlers" locally you can feed them. Otherwise you can order them online.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
