Hello all. I was posting in hopes to rehome my three axolotls. One wild, one gfp wild and one gfp blue melanoid. Two are under a year old, the blue melanoid is right at a year old. The reason I am rehoming is my tank crashed a while back because of a bad filter and I have had a really hard time maintaining water levels for them. Their gills aren't the prettiest at this point, but otherwise they still seem health... Eating well. I just don't feel like I have the proper knowledge for them and would really like them to get the best life they can get from someone who knows more about their care then I do. I'm not asking for a rehoming fee but I do need info on how to ship them and would like a reference so I know whoever would like to rehome them does have better knowledge then I do. Please send me a message... Thank you!

Since it is illegal to transport them out of or into many countries you will need to provide your general location before you find a new owner for them.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
