Do u guys see any problem with keeping snails in tank with newts, I'm hopping snails will eat algae and stuff but newts will eat some of them to keep them from over populating, and fortunately MTS reproduce asexually so won't have snail eggs as eye sore. Opinions and statements... Anything helps?

If they aren't too big, they should be fine. Fair warning, snails will eat newt eggs when they get a chance

And keep in mind the temperature requirements both of the newts and the snails! If their ranges do not overlap, you should look for other snail species.

Yes, very true, I forgot about temperature ranges as well. If they can't survive temperatures the same as the newts, they can't mix, as you'll have to sacrifice the needs for one over the other

Alright their in same temp range but can eggs be easily spotted and removed and put in other tank

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
