Last night as I was putting in worms, she got super excited and bit the sand. She's about 5 inches. Will it pass thru ok? Thanks!

The sand will pass through your axolotl perfectly fine.
The reason we use sand instead instead of pebbles is for this exact reason; the sand will not block their digestive system.

You should be okay, but it would be best to get a feeding plate so you can avoid accidents. Flat slate or even small plates can be used.
