Illness/Sickness: Help advice please

Hi i have two axos one pink with black dots and one black with blacker spotts im fairly new to axolotls so im just wondering with my black one whos name is Axle he has dark raised spotts in places on his body he is a rescue and don't know how lone they have been there but one is noticeably bigger and located on his leg i was just wondering if they are harmful to him :confused:

Would it be possible for you to post some pictures so that we can see the raised spots.
Could you also post your water parameter test results (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, temp.)
It would also be worth posting any other information that you have available as that will help the experienced keepers on this forum to be able to offer the most specific advice for your axolotl.

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
