Has anybody used "Seachem Stability" to cycle their tank?

Product label reads:

New Tank Stabilization System for Marine & Freshwater: Rapidly & Safely Establishes Bio-filter. Prevents "New Tank Syndrome"

The description reads:

"Stability® is formulated specifically for the aquarium and contains a synergistic blend of aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacteria which facilitate the breakdown of waste organics, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. Unlike competing products, the bacteria employed by Stability® are non-sulfur fixing and will not produce toxic hydrogen sulfide. Stability® is completely harmless to all aquatic organisms as well as aquatic plants, thus there is no danger of over use."

Below is the amazon link to the product:

Let me know your thoughs - please be genuine. Will not tolerate rudeness.

I've never used it, and never heard of it being used, so I can't comment on if it works or not.

Looks like it says to use for 7 days then continue with water changes or adding new animals. I'd consider doing that and testing the water daily without the axolotls in it, then add them after the week and continue to watch them very carefully and test water atleast every couple days to check on things for a few weeks. Any signs of stress, remove them and start from scratch with a new by-the-books cycle. (Assuming you chose to use the product). Just pay close attention to them and make sure to continue those tests! Sometimes cycles will crash and you'll have to start over anyway.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
