Hi everybody,I am new to this site ?,I have 2 axolotls and yesterday my female started laying loads of eggs!,I am ideally looking for somebody who would be interested in taking some as there's too many for me to rear and I just want to give the little ones a chance at life, mom is albino and Dad is black. This will be my first time trying to rear the little ones and I've read advice to cull a lot of the eggs and concentrate on a small number but I just can't bring myself to cull them so if I could find people to take.and rear them that would be great!,I am in Wolverhampton.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
