Axolotls reguritating bloodworms. WORRIED??

Hi everyone

I recently (1 day ago on halloween) got my 2 new male axolotls, 1 wild type and 1 leucistic. They are both about 6/7 inches long and are in a newly cycled 50 gallon tank. But the problem is that i fed them a cube of frozen bloodworms today and the leucistic ate some and then 5 minutes later regurgitated them, ate a few again then regurgitated them! Im really worried that something is wrong with him. And the wild type didn't eat any that i saw of althought he was right next to the food! Are they just stressed in being in a new tank or is something wrong?! Please help Im so worried my new little ones!

My axolotl ate immediately when I got him, but didn't want to the next few days :/ it's probably just new tank stress, but I'd offer food every day just to make sure they aren't hungry

Offer food avary day, then ensure that anything they don't eat is removed from the tank.
Test the water parameters to make sure that everything is fine for your little ones.
Don't have bright lights on the tank for a while, and give them time to settle in.
Hopefully as they settle into their new home their eating habits will improve.

Thanks but i tried with blood worms today and he is still not eating. Its been 4 days since he last ate. What can i do?!?!?!?!?!?!

Try a different food source, he still may also be settling in.

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
