Hello every one, happy holiday season!
I will try to keep this brief. My axolotl is about 5 inches or so now, I have had them since July! Usually I feed frozen bloodworms, but have been trying to incorporate earthworms now. I have been cutting them up about the width of the lotl's head and soaking in water for a bit. At first my axolotl loved them! After a couple of feedings now, they get spit out after being chewed for awhile. I only can get them to eat the worm if I mix it in with some frozen bloodworms in the food dish. No signs of stress, water parameters are great, and still loves the bloodworms. Are they just being fussy?
Anyone had an experience where their axolotl just turned their nose up at food they used to like? Or just being picky eaters in general?
Cheers
