Hi! I'm new to this website so I hope this works --

I got two axolotls a week ago and they're both doing very well, the only thing I noticed was that my wild type was missing one of its feet :-( it was like that when I got him/her from the breeder. I know they're known for regenerating their limbs - just making sure it's nothing I need to be worried about.

By the way, he/she is a juvenile, about 5" long and is having no problems moving around the tank :)

Just watch the stub and monitor its regenerating progress, Watch for fungus or infection and make sure the axolotl keeps eating properly and your axolotl will completely recover.

I know its a few weeks late but I bought an axolotl from the breeder knowing it was missing two feet and half of another. I kept him in a tank by himself until two of his feet grew back (so he had three good ones) and put him in with the others his size. The last foot finally grew back! It took about a month. I just wanted to give you some more hope :)
