I'm currently setting up/cycling my tank for my juvie that I'll be getting next week. I've been looking for some floating plants to provide a bit more cover at the surface (and just because I love the look). Any recommendations? All I'm finding it the Marineland 3ft Bamboo, and I'm unsure if it's suitable due to the harder plastic.

Hello!

Honestly, you could buy any aquarium plant and detach the stems from the holder base and it'll serve the same purpose of floating plants. Though I do know a few people using the Marineland bamboo and their axies are doing fine!
I also know of the company Underwater Treasures, but I don't know much on them as I decided to go with just detaching bases from aquarium plant method ^^;

Hope I could be of help!
