Went into my daughters room with her at bedtime and our axolotl was floating upside down. I was so scared, I thought he was dead but he is alive. We have put him in a plastic "shoe box" but his back legs are clamped. Don't know how to post photo. Color is good, gills are good. Water nitrates less than 5mg/L, ph 7, temp 68f. Lives in a 20 gallon tank with sand base with 4 feeder guppies. Has been eating hikari axolotl pellets but rejecting most, spitting out juvenile super worms but eating blood worms right now. Should I fridge him?!
