Hello!
In the beginning of the summer I started to really get into everything Axolotl. I studied and studied and eventually decided to get 2 of my own. I adopted 2 Juveniles around 2 months old (not yet sexed). I have had them for 2 months now and have continued my research! I was thinking about breeding them when they come of age if I have a male and female. I am posting to get feedback about tips on techniques!
Thanks!:D

Well, you will probably learn from experience that axies pretty much breed themselves. Otherwise just look through the axie section on this forum for all the info you need on breeding them.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
