Most sites online are out of stock. Any help is appreciated.

Both these animals will most likely be wild caught, we do not support the selling of wild caught animals.
However, the site founder John Clare may have some Tiger salamander juveniles that he has bred. He may be the only breeder in the States. Send him a message :- http://www.caudata.org/forum/members/1/john.html

Blue spotted salamanders are very seldom bred in captivity. If you want them, you should be able to find wild specimens. Nashwauk MN is right in the heart of Blue spot country.

I prefer not wild caught. I was hoping to find a breeder. I messaged John so I will see what he says. Thanks for the help!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
