I bought Reptivite Reptile Vitamins for my turtle and was wondering if I could use it with my Tiger Salamanders. If not, does anyone know any amphibian vitamins to make them healthier.

A balanced mixture of rep-cal and herptivite are a good choice as the seperate mixtures reduces the amount of catalyzed oxidation fat soluable vitamins.

I have used a mixture of 3:1 Repcal/Herptivite for years with lizards. I rarely add it to any of the Tylototriton food however because they eat such a wide variety of live, frozen, and prepared foods already (also it tends to wash off rather easily in the water). I did pick up some WC Salamandra s. terrestris-(I think) this weekend and have been adding it to the earthworm chunks that I have been feeding them.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
