Does anyone know if realistic T. grans replicas exist and where to get them?

Sorry, I do not. But I do have a question for you. Do you know of any realistic salamnader replicas for sale anywhere at this time? I recently found a P. ruber at the national aquarium and then found out that line of replicas (Tennessee Aquarium Collection of replicas) was discontinued. I have checked out ebay and did tons of google searches and only found unrealistic translucent salamanders. If you have any info on this I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Brad

Brad, this question is well over a year old. I don't think Ester even posts here any more.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
