So you think you know alot about amphibians.....

68% not bad for someone who has not heard about most of those scientific terms on it

i botched all the ones about primitive lines and the devonian period-i usually skip that part in books

59%

Better than I expected as I have never red any scientific texts on amphibia and I don't know much about frogs either. So it seems I did pick up a thing or two on this forum

I got a 80% on the test....
Some of the questions are not appropriate such as the one stipulating that frogs breed mainly in the spring......

68% for me...Phewee that's tough. I did google the Devonian Period and discovered it was named after Devon in the UK, a few miles from where I live. Strangely enough the good people of Devon are more interested in cream teas than their counties' historical importance.

I got 61%, but have to admit, I had to guess at some of them, especially those I didn't have a clue on! (Which was most.)

I'm really surprized! I managed to get 68% but I guess I had a book in front of me. Man that was hard! I guessed a lot to.

I just got a 68%. The prehistoric questions were probably the toughest for me.

I got a proud 61%. The prehistoric/evolutionary questions were the toughest for me as well.

OK, pass the dunce hat, I got a 56%. Of course most of this stuff I covered in college in the mid 80s as a wildlife management major, but obviously it's not what I pursued as a career.

Thanks for the link,
I´m surprised to have 76% - although I admit I had to guess some answers...

46 % but I'd like to see what you guys would get on a test about tool and die making. I think I had the lowest score so far. Thank goodness I have good communications with the guy with the highest score.

no you didnt i got 43% but i am only 14 so i can be excused lol i didnt no most of them o well when im about 25 i might do a bit better

I got a 50%, although I knew hardly any of the scientific names. Eh, I know a lot more than what the test was talking about.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
