My announcement......

With MUCH anticipation, I bought my first tiger today! I am so excited! It was a rat race trying to find this guy, or girl, it's a juvie so I think I may have to wait to see if male/female. I was at a local pet shop today, and I saw an empty tank and asked what was in it...it wasn't empty, the sally was buried! Happy day for me!! Will post photos later today!
The moral of the announcement: good things do come to those who wait....and wait....and wait some more

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
