the East Texas Herpetological Society is hosting its every-other-month meeting. The topic this Friday evening is a discussion of the Texas Blind Cave Salamander found in the complex of caverns and underground streams in Central Texas.
The meeting starts at 7:30PM, entrance is free to the public, and snacks will be served.
I hope everyone who lives in the Houston metro area, or will be in the Houston area, will come by this Friday. I am looking forward tot he meeting. They are always interesting, and it is always great to meet with so many herpers.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
