here is a pic of my cake. monday was my b-day but this cake was for a congrats party,my boss got it she actually picked out this design specifically for me-she was sure it was a salamander-but still its a cool cake.(amazingly there were no frog options) i got a 1 k scholarship from my work (not hard there i was the only applicant) what i plan to do with it is of interest to you all. here is an adress http://www.wcu.edu/hibio/education.html look into it if you need summer plans-epecially for the Plethodontid Salamanders 2004 class. there are prerequsites but i know a few of us are college students/grads. this is a cool class that i missed this past summer.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
