Hello!
I have three chinese firebellies and no air conditioning in my appartment... Normally I have no problem regulating the temperature of their water, it usually sits around 72 degrees. Since it's been getting hotter and hotter here my appartment turns into an oven during the day while I'm out at work and I came home and found the tanks above 80 degrees the other day...
I took some water from their tank and cooled it in the fridge and slowly put it back in the tank to bring the temp back down, but I can't be doing that all day while I'm out and deffinatly cannot afford a cooling system right now... Anybody have any tricks for keeping their tanks cool?
I've been keeping a close eye on them while I'm home and so far none of them have shown any signs that they are uncomfortable in the warmer water, they are all active and behaving normally.
Thanks!
