Hey,
I have kept N. v.v. before but they were always adults. I just got some today and they all have the adult coloration however one is spending all its time on land, it hasn't gotten in the water since I first put it in. is it possible that it is still a juvenile, but just has the adult coloration already? Has anyone ever seen this?

If so, I want to put it in a terrestrial setup because there is little land in mine because all the ones I've had in the past were entirely aquatic for the most part.

I have 2 adult nvv's and they occassionally spend alot of time on the land. It's not a seasonal thing, and although most of their time is in the water, I've noticed them spending several days at a time on land. In my tank I have 2 platforms covered in java moss for them to swim out to and hang out on the land awhile. Definitely provide them with a land area.
