Got some new equipment <IMG SRC="http://www.caudata.org/forum/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":-)" BORDER=0>

I just got back from the store and since I bought a 20L tank I needed to get a new mesh cover and a new light fixture. Wel I left with the standard mesh cover, but instead of the standard strip light I bought something else. I got the "Coralife T-5 Series Double Strip Light". The guy @ the store told me that if I ever wanted to do some plants that it is what I wanted. So I bought it for $46.99. It came with 2 different types of lights, one as a Colormax Full Spectrum Fluorescent Lamp and the other is a 6700K Plant Fluorescent Lamp. Both lights have are 18W a piece. I must tell u that the lighting is flawless now in the tank.

I however had some questions, the guy told me that I needed to have some kind of CO2 injection system if I wanted to have a good amount of plants (not like a forest, but pretty thick) and the best way (though he told me of how I could do it with mine) was to eventually get a canister filter and hook up 2 bottles of yest/sugar to the intake (a little more complex than that). Is this true? My gravel already has some "First Start" additive to it to help plants grow. I am looking at getting the Fluval 104 and getting up the CO2 intake thing.

Also, if I have a more "lively" plant growth in my tank, can it support more newts? I have 3 newts in a 20L tank with about 8 gallons of water in it.
