So... I have to do this project for biology, and I need to make a phylogenic tree with the mudpuppy on it, and then I need to make a cladogram about the mudpuppy, and I need to color a map of where the mudpuppy lives in the world... I only found America... Does it only live in America, and can anyone help me with the Phylogenic tree (tree of relation to other animals based on complexity) and the cladogram (diagram based on evolution)?

Hi Aaron, what class is this assignment for? Are you supposed to find the currently accepted tree, or build one from characters given to you by your instructor?

PS: Henk, beautiful Olm, but I think you need to run it through the dish washer; it looks a little dirty!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
