i have 4 fire bellie newts but now 2 of them have died. can u name a chemical or something i can put in the water to pureify it????????

Josh, have you read any of the articles people have given you? You should have the basics down by now.

I also suggest not getting any other newts (like alpines...) until you've mastered the basics.

Your newts were probably suffering from shipping stress, unless they were captive bred. This would have nothing to do with water. But you need to know the basics of water quality to keep any aquatic newt.

There is no magic pill to get good water quality. It takes work (water changes and frequent removal of uneaten food and waste).
