Just wanted to show you a fern I'm planning on using in my future newt enclosure. I have just potted it to make it used slowly to be indoors, since it grew out on it's own (we have a lot of plants, have had the house for more than 40 years and never used any kind of pesticides, so I think this plant is pretty safe to use) I have posted on a fern forum to see if anyone knows what type of fern it is, but I haven't recieved any answer. If anyone knows, please post it! I would like to know a bit more about it... anyway I think it's really pretty, I hope you like it. 8)

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
