Verrucosus eggs

I`ve got lot of them. After I got lot of pleuros eggs, triturus eggs , orientalis eggs etc... This hobby is getting out of my hands.

Anyway this spring in Europe has been very favourable for wild amphibians too. Sufficient rainfall not too high temperatures

Fantastic, Juraj! I really enjoyed raising them. I've only kept one, and I'm pleased that it's semi-aquatic now, eating frozen bloodworm in the water. Best of luck with them!

I didn`t expect they would breed this year I was very surprised. I`ve got 160 from one female and hope the another won`t lay however last week I gave all pleuros morphs away yeah

One note: I couldn`t feed them artemia nauplii. They were able to snap and swallow small daphnia from the beginning.

Mine laid a small clutch today. Most were infertile as my animals are barely mature. The ones which do survive may turn up in London zoo....;)

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
