Those guys are awesome. If P. watl and T. granulosa were able to hybridize, I think they'd look like these guys. Are there any plans to breed them?

You're right, Leo, they're all females in the photos. The males are seperated at the moment for some behavioral experiments. These animals are bred every year at the zoo.

They look quite different from Notophthalmus viridescens, including their morphology (especially head shape). Is this impression correct or is this a photography artefact?
