Sexual Maturity in Taricha granulosa

I was just wondering at what age my tg is going to be mature. he is at least 5-6.5 months at this point. He has done the whole grasping things and everything last month. There's a picture on the "rescued newt thread" or in photos

it generally takes awhile for newts to reach sexual maturity, and by awhile i mean years. a good guess is 3-5 years for T. granulosa.

thanks, just a long shot, what is the age that cynops sp. reach sexual maturity?

also, how much time does various peoples Taricha spend in the water, mine is about half sleeping on land and half hanging out in his various spots. I am just wondering about his changing behavior patterns. Such as spending long periods of time in the water 2 months ago, and then spending only a few hours a day in water.
