Predictions - colour genetics

just sat here thinking if I have a male leuistic and two female wildtypes what will the babies come out as for curiosities sake?

Going by what I know about genetics (from breeding cockateils when I was little)

they would be wildtypes with recessive leustic genes if they are 'pure'?

If the parents (females) have recessive genes then some of the babies might come out leustic right? I have previously seen the (believed)parents to my wild axies 1 wild and 1 leuistic my axies have a very light belly/chin so I think this might indicate leuistic in the blood (or maybe all wildtypes have this?)

Our leuc female/s and male wildtype bred and the baby types/colours were pretty much split between wildtype and leucistic. I still have 20 out of 250, the rest I gave to a local breeder.

With a leucistic and a "pure wildtype" you'll get just recessive wildtypes.

However, Leucistics and wildtypes can be recessive for other genes, like melanoid and albino. So if your animals are recessive for anything, you could get a whole slew of things.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
