can a young axie and an older axie live together i was thinking of getting and axie from ward since website they said i can pick the colour but couldn't pick the age so i am sure it will be young what should i do if i get it

They can, as long as the older axie doesn't see the younger one as a tasty snack.

i think you are better of to keep the younger one in its own tank untill it gets bigger or just put a tank divider in. you could try put them together but if the bigger one snaps at the younger one put a divider in or something.

i think you could Topher, well at least give it a try. I think you should just keep a careful eye on them though, see how they react to each other.
just my 2 cents...

=)))

It should be fine. In the first 2 days my young axie had his arm bitten off, so i seperated them. Due to lack of space however they are back in together and theyve been fine for 4 months now.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
