Axolotl as a shrink!

Sorry I have no pictures, but I'm playing this video game called Animal Crossing: Wild World and I walk around and get a glimpse of a pink critter. i run up to him and talk to him. His name is Dr.Shrunk and he's a little loony. I think, "hmm... I've seen this sort of animal before..." I pause to go feed Epsilon (my axie) and a light bulb goes off in my head. Axolotl! The weird thing is that he is fine and happy walking on land! Gills and all! I thought I might want to share this with you.
 
i don't get it... is this creature animated in a game? you talked to him in a game? Cool, if that is the case.!

Hahah cute, Dr. Shrunk, I've never heard of animal crossing but it sounds pretty cool. I should check it out....

Wish I could talk to my pets, Axolotls and Labradors, in either their language OR mine!!

Maybe you could ask Dr. Shrunk to translate!?!

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
