Amazing Results!

As some of you may know, i have been cycling my tank and i thought it would take forever, well i haven't tested my water for a while and when i tested today i was amazed! My ammonia and nitrite were at 0! I have no idea how this happened because just 10 days ago i still had high ammonia and just got high nitrite. I am amazed. ALRIGHT< CYCLING I OVER!!!

Ah, that's wonderful to hear, Jordan! When will you be getting your little Axie friend to go into the tank?

What size of tank do you have? If you can, post some pictures!

my tank is 30 x 12 x12 inches, i'll have to wait to get pictures but i will post when i get some. My axie friend should come here in like 2 days.

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
