hey all
one of my axie's is laying hard little brown things that look like really little minature snails shells. im not sure if its coming him but he always seems to be where they are, could somebody tell me what they are and if they are dangerous or does it mean that this axie is also sick.we have these axie's seperated because of their sicknesses. also i need help with another one of my axie's. its skin is peeling and atm we are treating it for a bacteria infection. what is the peeling and how do we fix it?
thanks

Hi Stephanie,

Can you take a picture of the brown things for us to see? It would be easier to help with a photo. Webcams seem to take better pictures of small things and I have found mine easier to focus than my digital camera. Good luck

are they moving if not could it not be poo sorry if i sound stupid but it sounds like poo

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
