Hi!!

I have got 5 axies in a 250l tank. A week ago, one female do freezing (i´m from spain

if my words don´t fit, excuse me :D)

well, this female is a golden albino, and the male has a normal grey colour.

Now, i have about 200 newborn axies in another tank (100 l). They have about 4 days old. I had put them in about 10 cm of water level.

I have live food, like daphnia, D. pulcher and D. magna. And 2 kind of worms (i don´t know the name in english

) but i think it is insufficient for all the axies.

Do you know other kind of food they could eat and how many times i must feed this newborn axies?

Here are my axies some days ago, when they were in there eggs

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
