Hi guys its been a few years since I've kept axys and was wondering if anyone can sex the golden albino in the picture for me? I'm thinking its a boy but would like confirmation.Both axys look the same so whatever sex the albino is then the wildtype will be the same.Thanks in advance,oh and the gravel is being removed!

both adult and a couple of years old size approx 7 inches nose to tail

I'd say the albino is a boy, large cloaca behind rear legs, but bit hard to see the wildtype.

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
