okay, im about to put my axie into a salt bath due to a fungal infection, one question.

what do i put him in to have the salt bath?

do i put him into a plastic tub? or do i put him into a shallow tank?

i have read www.axolotl.org and other sites, but im still not exactly sure on what to put them in. they only tell me how much to put in (2-3 teaspoons per litre)

this is really buggig me! thanks

any foodsafe plastic or glass container as it will only be for 10-15 mins max., like a 2litre plastic icecream container or bigger depending on size of your axie .

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
