.

i dont know how to translate either:S. so i cant help u there but have u cycled your tank? do u have gravel or sand? if u have gravel i advise u take it out straight away as your axies are likely to swallow it thinking its food and get ill. sand is great to use as a substrate.

heres a link to a thing about cycling if your unsure http://www.caudata.org/cc/articles/cyclingEDK.shtml also check out www.axolotl.org its really helpful.

actually we just got them and the guy at the store said that for now they are more than happy in the little bowls we bought them in so its just them in a bowl with a ball of worms ...we havnt even looked at them cause we want them to relax for a bit... was a big transition getting them out of the store (for them anyway) so we just put them on a shelf like we got them and left them alone ... i think they appreciate thet more than i a nice tank lol but ya were doing our homework before introducing them to there home. we bought gravel but its not small enough to eat. axies bout as big as my pinkie. but i dont think my gf will let me use anything but sand after shes looked around on this sight and read what you just said on every other post lol ... thank s for the advise. we wont use gravel

a week is not long enough to cycle, if you have broken that big tank down no bacteria will be in it sadly. http://www.caudata.org/cc/articles/cyclingEDK.shtml have a read of that and that will explain everything. since you have your axies in their bowls already 30% water changes daily will be needed to keep the ammonia and nitrite in check. goldfish will produce food for the bacteria to feed on in the new tank but it can be very stressful for them and doing 30% water changes for them daily will be needed also. much easier to get some media, filters, or decor from exisiting aquariums to start things going and a pinch of flakes a day or a piece of fish added to the tank will start things off. you need to purchase test kits for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph.

feeding should only be about once every 2-4 days for adults (above 20cm), every 1-2 days for juvies (10-20cm) and 1-2 times a day for bubbas. worms, bloodworms, beefheart as a treat, black worms, meal worms (jaws crushed and only as a treat) are good starts along with a good quality carnivor pellet.

you need at least a 60x30x30cm tank for two
