i've heard that sand id such a great substrate and i was wondering what type of sand you guys use and where i might be able to get it. THANKS in advance!
i bought mine from toys r us. its childs play sand. not sure if toys r us is a world wide shop or not though.lol. but i got mine and washed it until the water ran clear or near clear.it takes a couple of days minimum to settle and for the water to clear properly once the tank is set up.
Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation
Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
