i think he died this morning, but i didn't want to admit it and continued with the salt bath and fridge..
but.... i think i have to admit it that he's dead
the new home was already set up waiting for him to recover to go back to it
:( been crying.....
is the death because of the UG filter?

Sorry to hear that. : (

It was probably one of the factors that contributed to its death, through incorrect information given by petshops, as the waste buildup beneath the plate effects water quality - doing fortnightly waterchanges may not have been enough if your tank hadn't been cycled from the start and sounds like you also had trouble trying to remove uneaten food waste.

Did you manage to get your tankwater tested at all for ammonia, nitrite and nitrates?

thanks for your help...
our family was a bit sad about that...
coz we have been planning this since last year.

the ph was 7.6
and amonia good
but nitrite is a bit purple....
so the new set up is empty
but we hope after we will get another one.

maybe more water change?
and today i got the new tank stabilization system which it saids is suppose to break down of waste organics.....
so i'll get the water test laster to see if it's ok as well as switch filter
