what is a turkey blaster

looks like a hydrometer

It's a bulb and a cylinder, used to suck up juices (or with caudates, tank waste)

check out kitchen section of supermarkets/department stores. Or if you have cheap shops where you can buy anything (like $2 and Pricebuster stores in NZ, 100pta shop in Spain, Pound Shop in UK) We got ours from $2 shops, not many people in NZ baste with turkey basters, we just use large spoons or ladels to baste our hams or roasts!

i thought it was a turkey blaster too!! hehe, but indeed it is a turkey Baster and its like a giant pipette! You use it to suck up the axies poop! good fun!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
