Dear all,

I'll be moving home this weekend and I have no immediate plan for home internet (I'll get to that after the move). That means I'll be around less so have patience please. Remember Jennifer Macke has most of the abilities on the forum that I do, and the moderators are close behind. If you need anything and you don't get a prompt response from the forum's contact facility, contact one of those lovely people directly please.

Good luck with the move John, will you be moving a lot of newts too? Maybe it's nice to gather some tips and tricks since I will probably be moving soon too ;)

No, just some tiger larvae and some very young fire salamanders. Thanks for the good wishes ;). Good luck with your own move.

I'm moving like 10 miles away, stop asking me if I'm moving to Europe LOL.

Well, you said "moving home", which to me means back to Ireland. Hope you settle in well.

I've moved but I have no home internet and I don't know when I'll be getting around to ordering it. If my mailbox today (after 48 hours of not checking) is anything to go by, people are not taking this into account.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
